Cookie Policy
Last updated: 25 June 2026 · How ReachBell uses cookies and similar technologies
DotSpheres Technologies Pvt Ltd (“ReachBell”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies — such as browser local storage and service workers — to operate the ReachBell dashboard, keep you signed in, and run our marketing website. This policy explains what we set, why, and how you can control it. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and, for visitors in the EU/UK, the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules.
A “cookie” is a small text file a site stores in your browser. “Similar technologies” include local storage, session storage, and service workers, which can hold small amounts of data for comparable purposes. We group what we use into the categories below.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the ReachBell dashboard to work and cannot be switched off through our interface. When you sign in to your account we set a small number of cookies to authenticate you and maintain your session — for example, to keep you logged in as you move between pages and to protect against cross-site request forgery. Without these, core features such as logging in and staying signed in would not function. Because they are essential to deliver a service you have actively requested, they do not require prior consent under the ePrivacy rules.
Web-push service worker & browser storage
ReachBell delivers web push notifications through a service worker and browser storage that run on your own website — the site where your visitors opt in — not on this marketing site. These are used solely to manage the push subscription: to register the visitor’s browser with the push service, hold the subscription details needed to deliver notifications, and let the visitor unsubscribe. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and they are only created after a visitor grants notification permission. How that subscription data is processed is described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
Our marketing website relies on a small number of third-party services that may set their own cookies or use similar storage:
- Crisp — we use the Crisp live-chat widget so you can talk to us from the website. Crisp sets its own cookies (and uses browser storage) to maintain the chat session and remember your conversation. These are controlled by Crisp as described in its own privacy and cookie notices.
- Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) to understand how visitors find and use our marketing website — for example, which pages are popular — so we can improve it. It sets its own cookies to measure usage. We have not enabled Google’s advertising or cross-site (Google Signals) features. You can opt out site-wide with Google’s browser add-on, or block these cookies as described below.
- Sentry — when enabled, we use Sentry for error monitoring to detect and diagnose problems with the site and dashboard. It may use storage to correlate errors within a session so we can reproduce and fix them.
We use no advertising cookies, we do not run third-party ad networks, and we never sell your data. The analytics cookies above are used only to measure and improve our own website.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings — every major browser lets you block or remove cookies and clear local storage, and you can usually choose to be warned before a cookie is set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the dashboard from working, including signing in. To clear the web-push service worker and stop receiving notifications, revoke notification permission for the relevant site in your browser, or unsubscribe from the site’s preference center.
If you are visiting from the EU or UK, you have the right to refuse non-essential cookies and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time, without affecting cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service. Because we set no advertising cookies, the choices that affect you are limited to the optional third-party services above (including analytics) and your browser-level controls.
Changes to this policy
If we add or change the technologies we use, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here so you can see what we set and why.
